Romeo is Bleeding (1993) | i&#8217;m not quite sure what this odd little noir was about, but it was&#8230;interesting. also, i was watching for when Gary Oldman&#8217;s character starts &#8216;morphing&#8217; into Drexl Spivey in the last scene and lo and behold, there&#8217;s a teeny tiny hint of pimp swag there.

Murder in the First (1995) | courtroom thrillers/dramas of the 90s are generally awesome, but this is definitely an exception; i found it utterly boring and wanted to strangle the (late) director and cinematographer for excess use of steadicam.
